About Artie
Artie Lange has been a resident of Hoboken since 2001. He was raised in the typical working class, Italian-American style. He spends weekends down the shore, loves the Yankees and there’s a special place in his heart for Frankie Valli.
After a brief career as a Longshoreman at the Newark and Elizabeth Port, Artie traded his union card for a microphone. Over the last 15 years, Artie has cultivated a career as a comedic actor having appeared on MADtv and several feature films including Artie Lange’s Beer League, a film he wrote, directed and starred in. Artie is also the best-selling author of the book titled Too Fat to Fish. Currently, he appears on the Howard Stern Show and entertains millions around the globe with his stand-up routine.
Artie doesn’t know shit about politics. We think this is his greatest attribute.
We know all about his notorious past, which is more than can be said of any other current Hudson County political operative. At least we know what we’re getting.
