Comedy Central Blog Comments on the Election
The Comedy Central Insider blog recently sounded off on the Hoboken Mayor’s election. They even posted an interesting video that they think might have helped Artie capture the degenerate vote.

This morning the campaign held a press conference to state the following:
Even before the process of counting votes is complete, it is obvious that Hoboken has made its choice for Mayor. We therefore concede our loss to Dawn Zimmer. We thank her for running a clean, issue-oriented campaign against Artie Lange.
Finally, we want to thank Artie for continuing to put Hoboken first, even in light of this tragic loss.
We look forward to the next Artie Lange campaign.

Volunteer on Election Day
We want people to hand out voting instructions at every polling place in Hoboken from 6 a.m. until 8 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3. A list of polling places in Hoboken can be viewed here.
Please take the day off from work and print out copies of our instructions. When you arrive at any of the polling places, please distribute these instructions to voters. However, please review the New Jersey Voters Rights Handbook before distributing these instructions. Pay close attention to the section on “Electioneering” at the bottom of page 6. You are not permitted to solicit voters or loiter within 100 feet of the front door of the polling place. If you stand just outside of 100 feet, you can do whatever you want, like handing out the instructions or asking people to vote for Artie.
Make your own t-shirts that promote Artie Lange for Mayor and wear them on or around Election Day.

Three simple steps:
1. Press box #11, which you will find at the bottom right hand side of the ballot in the box labeled “Personal Choice”.
2. Type “Artie Lange” using the keyboard directly below the ballot.
3. Press the big red button directly below the ballot labeled “Cast Vote”.

Perez Hilton Sucker Punches Artie Lange
After appearing on the Howard Stern Show, Perez Hilton slammed Artie Lange with a sucker punch.
During his appearance on The Howard Stern Show, Perez discussed how he was punched by the manger of Black Eyed Pea’s front man, Will.i.am. Perez mocked his attacker and complained that he was struck by a “sucker punch“. It sounded like He learned a valuable lesson.
Two days later, Perez made a post to his website insulting our candidate and alleging that this campaign is a fraud. We can honestly say we didn’t see that one coming. Obviously, the only lesson he learned was how to throw a sucker punch.

Will Artie become Mayor? That’s what Punchline Magazine is asking in a recent article.
Hoboken Now: Artiel Lange, Mayor of Hoboken
A Hoboken Now blog post shines a light on the campaign while raising concern that our candidate might get pressured by certain high profile residents to stand down.
Hoboken Now references news of Hoboken’s 5th Ward Councilman, Peter Cunningham, being critical of potential candidates contemplating a run for Mayor in November. More strange, Rev. Anthony Forbes jumped right on the bandwagon echoing Councilman Cunningham’s position.
This campaign is offended by these statements. In fact, we view these tactics as a roadblock to democracy. Voter suppression occurs when an individual or group employs a strategy to influence the outcome of an election by discouraging people from exercising their right to vote. Frankly, we don’t see the difference between employing voter suppression techniques and attempting to keep other candidates off the field.
