Comedy Central Blog Comments on the Election

The Comedy Central Insider blog recently sounded off on the Hoboken Mayor’s election.  They even posted an interesting video that they think might have helped Artie capture the degenerate vote.

Concession

This morning the campaign held a press conference to state the following:

Even before the process of counting votes is complete, it is obvious that Hoboken has made its choice for Mayor. We therefore concede our loss to Dawn Zimmer. We thank her for running a clean, issue-oriented campaign against Artie Lange.

Finally, we want to thank Artie for continuing to put Hoboken first, even in light of this tragic loss.

We look forward to the next Artie Lange campaign.

Campaign Announces Election Day Strategy

Volunteer on Election Day

We want people to hand out voting instructions at every polling place in Hoboken from 6 a.m. until 8 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3.  A list of polling places in Hoboken can be viewed here.

Please take the day off from work and print out copies of our instructions.  When you arrive at any of the polling places, please distribute these instructions to voters.  However, please review the New Jersey Voters Rights Handbook before distributing these instructions.  Pay close attention to the section on “Electioneering” at the bottom of page 6.  You are not permitted to solicit voters or loiter within 100 feet of the front door of the polling place.  If you stand just outside of 100 feet, you can do whatever you want, like handing out the instructions or asking people to vote for Artie.

Make your own t-shirts that promote Artie Lange for Mayor and wear them on or around Election Day.

HOW TO VOTE FOR ARTIE FOR MAYOR

Three simple steps:

1. Press box #11, which you will find at the bottom right hand side of the ballot in the box labeled “Personal Choice”.

2. Type “Artie Lange” using the keyboard directly below the ballot.

3. Press the big red button directly below the ballot labeled “Cast Vote”.

Get your homemade signs ready for our first campaign rally outside of the Ed Sullivan theater where Artie is to appear on the Late Show with David Letterman.  We will be right out front of the theater marquee.  Anyone have a bullhorn?

Perez Hilton Sucker Punches Artie Lange

After appearing on the Howard Stern Show, Perez Hilton slammed Artie Lange with a sucker punch.

During his appearance on The Howard Stern Show, Perez discussed how he was punched by the manger of Black Eyed Pea’s front man, Will.i.am. Perez mocked his attacker and complained that he was struck by a “sucker punch“.  It sounded like He learned a valuable lesson.

Two days later, Perez made a post to his website insulting our candidate and alleging that this campaign is a fraud.  We can honestly say we didn’t see that one coming.  Obviously, the only lesson he learned was how to throw a sucker punch.

Crumbs Donates Artie Lange Cupcakes to Wiffle Ball Tourney

Crumbs Bake Shop located at 409 Washington Avenue in Hoboken, New Jersey, is providing several dozens of its signature Artie Lange cupcake for the Campaign Kickoff Wiffle Ball Tournament to be held in Hoboken on Saturday, August 29.
